Largest Buddhist temple in the world - and being a UNESCO World Heritage site - Borobudur is a must see in my opinion.
Walking up the path toward the last level, you get a chance to learn more bits of Siddhartha life through the murals. Discovering the restoration effort and the local story telling....
While being quite a busy place, the feeling of being isolated in the temple in a middle of a jungle was there, thanks to the site policy to avoid large crowd. The view was a delight.

On the other hand, the heat was excruciating! Didn't stop me to take photos as much as possible while listening to our guide, but that prove to be challenging.
This motivated me to read again some history book about Buddhism, now that I had a personal connection to the temple...
